Cihan Oskay, a restaurant manager who once had close relations with Fenerbahçe President has confessed offering chicanery and incentive premium to Samsunspor and Trabzonspor with the order of Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım in 2001. Last night during a special Telegol Show, Cihan Oskay has raised a claim, directly blaming Fenerbahçe President Yıldırım for rigging two games back in 2001. When asked 'why are you confessing now', Oskay said: "I am 58 years old. I have never done anything nonvolatile. I want to serve Turkish football by preventing other chicaneries." "I have no material profits out of this and I demand nothing from Aziz Yıldırım," he added.

Oskay's story:
A week before the final game of 2000-2001 season Galatasaray defeated Gaziantepspor and Fenerbahçe defeated Bursaspor. Therefore announcing of the Champion was postponed to the final game.
Aziz Yıldırım called Oskay the night Fenerbahçe defeated Bursaspor and asked him to come to the Club building. Yıldırım asked his close friend Cihan Oskay to offer incentive premium to Trabzonspor players via Oktay. According to this agreement Trabzonspor players would get premium even if they lose the game to Galatasaray with 1 score difference.

During the meetings between both parties Oktay demanded 500 thousand dollars. But he then accepted Yildirim's offer of 250 thousand dollars.
Besides, Sergen Yalçın who was playing in Trabzonspor at the time demanded 50 thousand dollars just to be in the line up. He even said: "I will get the money even if we lose by 10-0."

Cihan Oskay watched the Trabzonspor -Galatasaray game together with Oktay's brother-in-law Murat. If things would have gone just the way they wanted he was supposed to give the bag containing 250 thousand dollars to Murat.

Another stage was to bind a bargain with Samsunspor; Fenerbahçe's rival for the final game. For this, Yıldırım also asked help from Oskay but he refused it saying he has no acquaintances in Samsun. But he told Yıldırım that there is a man called Mustafa Çebi; former president of Orduspor and that he can intervene if Yıldırım asks.

Çebi was a former student of Samsunspor technical director Yücel Uyar. He told Yıldırım that he can go to Samsun and make some investigations.
Çebi went to Samsun and visited Yücel Uyar's father in his office where he was doing oil business.
Çebi first paid father Uyar's debts to his friends (840 million liras)

Yıldırım and Yücel Uyar had a meeting via telephone
Uyar said: "Normally, Fenerbahçe can defeat us. But if necessary I will not motivate my team." Yıldırım asked Uyar to cancel Samsunspor camp in Sivas and Uyar cancelled the training camp before the final game.
